In La Défense, Sephora goes further in the customer experience with new innovations

As SKEMA students, you may have seen the Sephora shop of Les 4 Temps mall was being renovating since several months. During last June, it finally reopened as one of the most complete flagship for Sephora’s new concept “New Sephora Experience”, where the brand will be able to test new offers in a whole new salespoint.

This beautiful transformation has turned the store into the 2nd largest in France, reaching 900m², just after the one on Champs Elysées. This wider space presents new services around interactivity and convenience, aimed to enhance the customer experience and purchasing comfort.


As we believe that images mean more than words, let us do you a tour in images of 6 innovations we have selected in the new shop.

1) The Beauty Wall

Due to the very large area of the store, an interactive touchscreen that helps people searching for a brand or a product has been installed. The Beauty Wall indicate on a plan where to go, which is very convenient for the busy clientele that comes during the day. It also offers a more playful service that can take selfies and pick the next music aired in the store.

2) The Dior Flagrance Wall

On this wall, customers can discover Dior flagrances in a fun way: after answering few questions on a tablet, 2 perfumes that match the customer tastes are lit in the window and can be tested.

3) The new Click & Collect

Another initiative to gain in efficiency is the new lockers to store the orders, which have been beautify. Again, Sephora chose here to help the client with a salesperson who gives the purchase to the customer, in order to make the service known.

4) A larger Beauty Hub

This key hub of Sephora concept is now not only dedicated to makeup service, but provide also care services. On the other side, customers can still virtually try makeup products with the Virtual Artist app.

5) The Gift Hub

Formerly known as the Gift Factory, this new version allows hurried customers to craft themselves their gift package. It is still possible to be help by a salesperson or to customize your present, but it’s the first time that Sephora provide this in self-service.

6) The Google Nest Hub

Sephora announced this summer that it will propose makeup tutorials and beauty advice through Google last voice controlled connect device: the Nest Hub. These digital services are exclusively displayed in La Défense store and you can even buy one.
